About this tool

PNG is the format most screenshots, charts and diagrams are saved in, because it keeps text and sharp lines crisp. This converter places each PNG in the PDF exactly as it is, so nothing gets blurry or blocky the way it can when an image is re-saved as JPG.

It's a handy way to bundle a series of screenshots into one file for a bug report, a how-to guide or a set of slides, or to turn a single graphic into a PDF a print shop will accept. Transparent areas print as white. Everything happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Questions

Does converting PNG to PDF lose quality?

No. PNG images are embedded in the PDF without being re-compressed, so they look exactly the same as the originals.

Can I combine several PNG files into one PDF?

Yes. Add as many as you like. Each image becomes a page, in the order shown in the list, and you can move them before converting.

What happens to transparent backgrounds?

Transparent parts of a PNG show as white on the PDF page, the same as when you print the image.

Can I mix PNG and JPG images?

Yes. You can add JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP images together and they'll all go into the same PDF.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The PDF is built by your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent anywhere.
