  3. Crop and download

Choose every page or just this one, then download your cropped PDF.

About this tool

Cropping is useful for scans with dark edges, slides with wide borders, or documents you want to read comfortably on a phone. The box is kept in the same proportions on every page, so pages of different sizes are cropped consistently.

Cropping changes the visible area of each page, which is how PDF readers and printers decide what to show. The parts outside the box stay in the file, hidden. To permanently remove private information, use proper redaction software instead.

Questions

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. Nothing is redrawn, so text stays sharp and selectable and images keep their quality.

Can I crop just one page?

Yes. Choose "Only the page shown" and use the page buttons to pick the page.

Is the cut-off content deleted?

No, it's hidden. That keeps the PDF intact, but it means cropping is not a safe way to remove confidential information.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. It's cropped in your browser on your own device.
